Darrell F H Smith is a long term resident of Nevada beginning in the early 1970’s after relocating with his
family from South Carolina. He has over 25 years of extensive sales and management experience with various corporations.
Darrell began his insurance career as a Life Insurance Agent for New York Life in the Nevada market in 1990. Since that
time he has held various Sales and Management positions with insurance carriers in the Nevada region.
Darrell was involved in the successful launch of Nevada Word & Brown office in September of 2007 as a Regional Sales
Manager. He was promoted to Regional Vice President of Nevada in December 2009.
Darrell F H Smith was one of the founding Board Members of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada and also
served a 2 year term as their founding board President during his tenure with that volunteer organization.
